Week 4: Magui's 'International Gnome'
It seems things are about to get more interesting in the Gnome Art Contest, and I like that.
There’s not much to critique about today’s piece, so I’m just going to start the controversy and head out because it’s Friday, past 6PM and I can’t believe I’m still writing this…
The picture shows a very artistic and abstract version of the gnome, filled with different sights from around the world, also featuring a footer containing greetings in different languages… but the most important part is how good it looks:
The details are way too good for the average Paint user, and rumor has it Magui owns an optical pencil, something you can draw much easier with.
She has been denying this for a while, saying she did not use it, which only makes everything more suspicious.
The painting is definitely awesome, there’s no doubt about that, but we’ll see what everybody thinks about this, and if they believe in Magui, when it comes to voting the best piece.
Now that Nadia is studying some sort of forensic science, maybe she can help us analyze the tracing of the pixels in the picture and determine whether we’re in the presence of a true artist, or a big liar… [DRAMATIC MUSIC] perhaps we’ll never know.
Note: The editor of this blog strongly believes in Magui's statements.
